About Amy B and the Band
Amy B and The Band Beats are a professional 5-piece band consisting of Amy Baker on vocals, Rich Muscat on sax, Laura Day on drums, Andy Morris on double bass and Tom Belbin on piano.
The young and energetic band came together after Amy's guest appearances with The Jive Aces (the UK's most successful Jive/Swing band) inspired her to get her own band together. Having met the other members on the live circuit, rehearsals were completed quickly, and they started performing around the UK in 2016. All accomplished musicians in their own right – the group perform with impressive musicianship skills and great on-stage chemistry.
Their choice repertoire mixes jazz/jive and swing numbers which can be catered to both background and dance events depending on your desired atmosphere.
The band come suited and booted in the era's clothing and are guaranteed to whisk you away to a bygone time of great music and entertainment.
