About The Sparks

Full Description:

The Sparks are a top professional four-piece covers band, comprising lead vocals/bass/rhythm guitar, lead guitar/vocals, keyboard/bass/vocals and drums. With a reputation for high energy, up-tempo entertainment, they are equally suitable for corporate functions, balls, weddings, parties and student events. The most consistent remark the band receive is that clients have never seen so many people up and dancing at a live show. When this is combined with the stunning sound of the band, tight vocal harmonies, the professional look and a repertoire that has never failed, it’s easy to see why The Sparks have caused such a stir at every show they've played.

This band have teetered on the edge of stardom, with two former members now part of number one chart band The Feeling. Between them, the current members have played on major European tours with top chart pop acts, appeared on TV and performed in shows in London and at the Edinburgh Festival. TV appearances include Top Of The Pops, GMTV, Rise, CD:UK, T4, The Saturday Show, Later With Jools Holland, Party In The Park Live, The Richard Blackwood Show and BBC Hall Of Fame. As a record deal has eluded them, the band have now decided to commit themselves to their function work, to which they bring some true star quality. The record industry’s loss is definitely our gain.

The band can provide background music on CD and also have their own high-quality PA and lighting system. They strongly recommend a performance made up of two one-hour sets although this can be extended for an additional fee.
