About

TC and the Alley Cats are a 4-piece pop/rock covers band comprising male lead vocals/bass; female lead vocals; and guitar/lead vocals/harmonies. Already a huge hit on the venue circuit, they have years of experience in bringing the party. With a repertoire ranging from classics such as Son Of A Preacher Man and Livin On A Prayer, to modern hits from George Ezra, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sande and Bruno Marz, this band really know how to get an audience up and rocking.

Charismatic front-man Toby has many years of professional entertainment experience. He has played with an array of A-list talent, including Sam Smith, and has extensive knowledge of playing any gig to any crowd. Alongside him, Lauren provides top-flight lead vocals. Lauren’s projects include working with the acclaimed a capella group The Haywood Sisters, as heard on BBC Sussex and Surrey Radio. She has also performed at the ‘Proms on the Roof’ festival and Ronnie Scott’s. Together they make a formidable partnership, with spot-on harmonies and impeccable playing. Add to this the third vocal from dynamic guitarist Craig Dutton, and The X Rays provide an unbeatable and unique combination of 3 lead vocals and 3-part harmonies at the front.

Also a big hit with the Forces, they have played all over the world in such diverse locations as Cyprus, Kosovo, The Falkland Islands and Afghanistan.

They also work as two separate duos – Toby and Lauren (pop/rock, or afternoon/early evening dinner jazz), and Toby and Craig.

The band can provide background music on CD and they also have their own high-quality PA and lighting. The band usually perform for three 40-minute sets.

“There are many glorious moments and memories from our wedding but one that stands out is the absolutely fantastic music and professionalism from TC and the Alley cats. I have never seen my friends and family dance so much and seeing all the guests with their hands in the air dancing to Hey Jude was magical. I cannot rate this band highly enough they were simply brilliant!!!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you for making our day complete xxxxxx.”
Suzanne Dixey – wedding reception – London

“The band were brilliant. They started with Valerie and the dance floor was filled in seconds. All the songs were great and professionally delivered. One of the main reasons for choosing TC and The AlleyCats from the excellent bands from Function Junction was because of the female singer whose voice added that extra something. They also came highly recommended from another family in the village!”
Sue Prior – daughter’s wedding reception – Hertfordshire

“We have had numerous wedding guests asking who the band were saying they were excellent, one guest even asked how to hire them for their own party. It was a shame we didn’t get more time to listen to the band ourselves as they sounded superb.”
David Horsler – wedding reception – Bedfordshire

“TC and the Alley Cats were fantastic for our wedding. Professional approach and great sound, kept every on the dance floor throughout with the song choice and quality of their play. Everyone went on about how good they were and we’ve already had several people asking for Function Junction & the bands details as they want to use them for their weddings.”
