About Treasure

Treasure is a group of extremely talented musicians bringing the best pop, funk and soul party music to stages and dance floors up and down the UK. The band is fronted by Gemma, our absolutely fantastic vocalist who has experience running through her from her dancing tippy toes to the top of her beautiful preened mane. Gemma’s vocal tones are reminiscent of pop icons like Katy Perry. Gemma’s vocal expertise and incredibly professional and friendly personality will win you and all of your guests round from the first song. Treasure comes as a 5-piece band, their line up is lead vocals, keys, guitar, bass, and drums/backing vocals. The band can also add more band members should you be looking for some brass or more vocalists, besides we can swap keys for brass or a second vocalist if you’d prefer too.

Gemma, who studied Musical Theatre, has toured the world on the high-class P&O cruise liners and been an integral part of show teams across the UK and abroad, is supported by Chris (on guitar), Ewan (on bass), Pete (on keys) and Rob (on drums and backing vocals). Collectively they have all studied at some of the most prestigious musical educational facilities in the UK and around the world, including the British Institute of Modern Music, Italia Conti, Leeds University and Plymouth University; have played with the likes of Emeli Sande, Ellie Goulding, Little Mix, Edge Michael (Peter Tosh’s nephew), Gary ‘Mudbone’ Cooper (of Parliament Funkadelic), Coree Richards (Damage), and Billie Ray Martin; have supported Robbie Williams, Rudimental, and Ronan Keating; have performed at Isle of White Festival, Newquay Beach Break Festival, SXSW Festival, and Notting Hill Carnival; toured the UK, Europe, and USA; have played at the renowned 100 Club, O2 Arena, O2 Islington, and Shepherds Bush Empire; and have played on Capital FM. I think you’ll agree that they've more than earned their stripes.

Gemma leads the way in Treasure as she belts out the band's pop, funk and soul repertoire, from artists such as Beyonce, Aretha Franklin, and Bruno Mars. The band has a repertoire of over 600 songs covering the 1950s to the current top 40, and specializes in pop funk and soul, though their repertoire also covers Motown, jazz, rock, disco, gospel, swing, blues, Jewish as well as Christmas and Halloween genres. Treasure offers a complete service, including a PA and lighting system to light up your stage and dance floor; complimentary music before, in-between and after sets; an ‘off the menu’ song request (often the first dance); and a bespoke setlist from over 600 songs for your special event, which means you’re guaranteed that the band will play exactly what you want to hear.

It made the party - thank you. – Angus, Bertie & Natasha, London, Birthday Party

The band were absolutely amazing. We couldn't have asked for anything else from them. They had our guests on the dance floor for the whole evening. If you are thinking of booking a wedding band, make sure to go for Treasure, you will not regret it! They were also completely flexible with timings and even came to set up early so they were not setting up when our guests were there. I would recommend them to everyone I know!! – Sophie & Chris, London, Wedding

The band were not only incredibly talented but they also went out of their way to bring a party vibe to our 1920s wedding, making sure all our guests were having a fantastic time! The dance floor was packed throughout and their special requests songs meant so much to us as the bride and groom. We couldn't have asked for better entertainment, and all of this was made possible through Rhona's flawless planning. Thank you to Treasure, we would book again and definitely recommend to others! – Becky & Ed, London, Wedding

We had a really perfect experience with Treasure at our Wedding Celebration in Putney. Before the event the communication and planning with Rhona was clear and on point; selecting a set list was easy given the wide variety of styles available and Rhona was a able to direct us towards certain songs that the band played especially well. At the event, the band played wonderfully, bringing a great energy and enthusiasm to the evening. Getting the bride and her dad on stage to sing was a wonderful touch, as was their willingness to play an encore and hang around chatting at the end of the night. All members of the band were very talented musicians and they all worked together like seasoned professionals. Both singers deserve special mention for their soulful vocals and ability to work the crowd and engage with the audience. We would highly recommend the band and would book again without hesitation. – Nic & Simon, London, Wedding, December

Treasure performed at our work Christmas party to a hard crowd but were an absolute hit! Had us all up dancing. Great set list. Great musicians. Amazing singers such great choices and they had lots of smiles for us and had us singing along.  – Shelley, London, Christmas Staff Party

Everyone was dancing and the duo was terrific. Music was just fantastic… would definitely use you again. – Alex, London, Birthday Party

Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone last night! As we knew it would be, it was amazing! Great song choices and really kept the party going till we sadly had to stop! – Natasha, Croydon, Corporate Awards

Just wanted to send a quick thank you to you and Treasure for playing at our wedding. I'm not sure if they reported back, but the weather was TERRIBLE and everything was rather delayed so I think they were waiting around for quite a while, so I'm sorry for that. However, despite the weather, we had an amazing day and the band were absolutely brilliant! They were exactly what we wanted and had people up and dancing from the first note!! Thanks for your help in the run up and your advice on the set list. I'll try and recommend TSC to friends getting married so I get to hear them again ;) – Bex & Dan, Exeter, Wedding

Just wanted to let you know that the band were all amazing on the night - we had such a great time and all our guests commented on how impressive the band were - the dance floor was busy all evening. Please would you pass on my thanks as I didn't get a chance to thank them all individually before they left and I really want them to know that they made it all perfect, especially giving up the keyboard for the first song as well! Thanks for all your help in organising everything, it was exactly what we wanted. – Sally & Phil, London, Wedding

We booked Treasure for our beautiful wedding all the way in Devon. For the finer points of the booking we dealt with Rhona who was a pleasure to deal with and always available to answer any queries. The band themselves were beyond our expectations, they really made our evening party special and both singers were amazing! We had so many compliments from the guests and all the other suppliers wanted to know where they had come from. The band really interacted with the guests and got myself (the bride) and many of the children to sing too, which everyone loved! We are both so grateful for what a special touch they added to our day. – Angela & Franc, Devon, Wedding

What a performance! We are so pleased that we chose your services for our wedding reception. Treasure are by far the best live party band we have seen. They were amazing! From learning our first dance song and singing it beautifully, to performing Mr Brightside twice (it’s one of my favourites), and then allowing Molly to perform ‘Valerie’ with the band, the evening was perfect. We would like to sincerely thank you for all the effort you and the band put into making the wedding reception a memorable event. Your friendliness, professionalism and assistance in working around our busy schedule so that the band sound checked early surpassed our expectation and we will definitely recommend you.  – Tim & Maria, Hampshire, Wedding

We booked Treasure for a special event we were hosting at a cinema- they were superb. Despite giving them a lot of information at the last minute, they were flexible and forthcoming and really had our audience dancing and cheering. I'd highly recommend them to anyone! – Nia, London, Everyman Cinema

We loved the band and everybody gave them rave reviews. – Kathy & Darren, London, Wedding

We were beyond thrilled with Treasure, they were fantastic and really exceeded our expectations. We had lots of great feedback from all of the guests and our other suppliers were all asking where they were from! They really made our special day even better, thanks so much for all your and the bands efforts, especially coming all the way to Devon! – Angela & Francesco, Devon, Wedding

We were both absolutely delighted both with Velvet and Treasure. Many of our guests were continuously telling us how great the band was and I'm sure I've never been at a wedding where the dance floor was so full!! We were honestly so so pleased - in both instances it really made the day. I'm so incredibly grateful to you all for putting on such an incredible show. It really was just perfect - they aced it.  – Laura & Chris, Sussex, Wedding

Everything was great thanks - from booking, to the band turning up, setting up, performing - I felt completely at ease the entire time and didn't worry at all - having a supplier like that is fantastic for your wedding!  I have no hesitation in recommending you. Thanks once again for really delivering on the day (and letting my dad sing!!) – Sally & Ian, London, Wedding

I recently had Treasure play at my wedding, what a wonderful experience. We had opted for the 4 piece knowing that the addition of the drums would probably encourage a little more grooving on the dance floor. We weren't wrong, the floor didn't empty from the start of the night to the finish. The vocalist was a star, her voice is brilliant and she actively encouraged audience participation (which was quite a highlight). No request was too big, we had asked they join in part way through our first dance song, which they agreed to do and it made the occasion all that more special, the floor was filled within moments. As with most weddings our schedule was over running, the band fit in with us every step of the way, they were polite, professional and friendly, it was an absolute pleasure to have them part of our special day. All of our guests commented on how great it was to have a live band. The booking process is very easy and their manager answered all queries promptly, she helped with all sorts of guidance along the way to ensure our event was perfect. If you are thinking of a live band for your next event I can highly recommend Treasure. Many thanks to Rhona, and the band. - Leah, London, Wedding

We had Treasure play at our wedding in June and they were simply fantastic. We really can't say nice enough things about them. The booking process ahead of time was very smooth and they delivered in huge style on the day. We had a two piece during the pre-lunch drinks and then a six piece band in the evening which created an incredible atmosphere...that our guests wouldn't stop talking about. – Frankie, Essex, Wedding

Please thank the band so much, we truly think they made the occasion all the more special. They definitely added a WOW factor. Our guests have all commented on how great they were. They allowed and actively encouraged audience participation which delighted many of our guests (especially the ones who could actually sing!). They arrived early and were very accommodating to our schedule as we did run slightly behind. The vocalist was absolutely brilliant, she worked the crowd and looked amazing. Having the band join in our first dance song saw the dance floor filled from beginning to end. Hopefully they enjoyed the night, the brides certainly woke up having thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Ewan dropped off and picked up everything exactly when he said he would and always communicated updates with us. The process of booking, setting up and the actual event was all too easy. Thank you for your help in arranging all of our particular requests and getting us started with the spotify list, it made our job of organising this wedding that much easier. – Nicky & Leah, London, Wedding,

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to yourself and the band for Saturday. The band were excellent, got all the guests involved with the music and made the night really special. They were also very friendly and happy to be flexible with the time delays. Thanks again, it was a pleasure working with you throughout and we will be sure to recommend Treasure to anyone who needs a good band. – Mark & Mel, London, Wedding

We booked  Treasure because I really liked their voices on the demo youtube videos, and as a lot of our friends are professional musicians, wanted to have a band with powerful voices. We were so happy with our choice! The band sounded brilliant, and really got people on the dance floor. The songs in their repertoire were really appropriate, and, most importantly, they sounded and looked great. The other good thing about the band was how easy they were to communicate with and how responsive they were. Our every interaction with them was super professional. We were so happy with our choice. Treasure really are an awesome wedding band! – Natasha & Coryn, London, Wedding

What a night! We were playing guess the song. Ewan your musical director was lovely and they all seemed to enjoy the evening. I would hire them again in a flash! The entire process was hassle free. The guests were impressed by the duet. – Lee-Ann Diaz, London, Birthday Party

They were really good, lots of compliments all round, and very accommodating when a few intoxicated guests grabbed the mike, or wanted to play the drums...please pass on my thanks to all, and I will definitely recommend to others, and consider for future use. –Amy Boden, London, Corporate NYE Party

We absolutely LOVED the band! They made the night and our guests thought they were awesome too! We were hoping they would be great, and I was sure they would be, but on the night they were even better than we had hoped for, they did a really great job! – Natasha Porter, London, Wedding

Paul and I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the fantastic job Treasure did on our wedding day. We had an amazing time and I’m pretty sure I danced to every single song! The singer that came was absolutely fantastic and knew how to work the crowd, so much so that everyone was aching the next day due to the fact that they didn’t want to leave the dance floor with the great songs that she kept singing!! - Gina Grasso, Hertfordshire, Wedding

Everything from the acoustics to the choice of music was perfect. Everybody thought they were fabulous and they managed to get everyone dancing! - Massi & Renata, London, Wedding

Please thank the band for making the evening amazing, being professional and well organized. The full band including the brass created a full complete sound which many of my guests commented on. The dance floor was filled! I have spent the last week receiving compliments saying how good the band was and how did I find you! In particular, the Florence songs were fantastic. - Adrian Coe, Kent, Birthday Party, August
